About the Blizard

The Blizard, named after Sir William Blizard FRS PRCS, was opened in October 2005 by HRH The Princess Royal, Chancellor of the University of London. This building provides an intriguing combination of world-class teaching and research facilities. In addition the blizard provides time and space for public engagement where not only adults but also children are taken on a journey into the world of science.
